Kris - great video and a fair overview of arbitrage re search and affiliates, and MFA sites.
Thanks for your support of affiliate marketers - at least the good ones. I agree that we all need to try and help the SE’s understand what is quality and what isn’t.
One comment I have re the term “arbitrage”: it seems to have a bad connotation - but isn’t everything we do in business (for profit) supposed to be for some ROI in the end?
Cheers,
Peter

Peter,
Thanks. I agree that the term arbitrage has been unfairly given a bad name - what’s happened up to this point is the concept as it relates to “search arbitrage” has been attached to MFA Arbitrage, which deserves a bad name. For instance, Garbitrage.
Up to this point and moving forward I will continue to argue that arbitrage is fundamental reality of paid search (buy low sell high) and that MFA arbitrage should be disassociated from other forms of search arbitrage such as affiliate marketing and comparison shopping.

Garbitrage!
Hey Kris,
Excellent recap on arbitrage. I’m a college student and I have been doing affiliate marketing for a few months. I think that it is sad that affiliate marketers have to think of ways to ‘trick’ the quality score algorithm when are entire business relies on us providing super targeted results to certain keywords. The worst feeling is waking up and seeing some keywords costing $5 a click…
Keep up the crusade.
